We take hike throught New York Central Park.

j.jpg The horse carriages are pretty, but take note of the horse diaper. Its light blue and just above the hanging bucket.
k.jpg I don't know the name of this tree, but saw them both in New York and Pennsylvania. What is this tree with the olive colored bark?
We make our way to the Mall.
l.jpg These huge trees along the Mall must be over a hundred years old.
m.jpg Farther down the Mall.
n.jpg This is Bethesda Terrace. Note the green, green water. I wouldn't want a mouthful of that... The fountain is called The Angel of the Waters fountain.
o.jpg This, appropriately, is "The Lake".
p.jpg This is called Bow Bridge.
We make our way to the Mall.
r.jpg Now we are in a conflagration of interconnecting trails called The Ramble. It reminded me of the small trout stream valleys back in Minnesota. I was struck that folks a hundred years ago saw much the same thing as we were viewing right now. Central park functions in part as a kind of a connectivity between past and present generations I think here I am trying to focus on the running water.
