Mayas and Spider Monkeys

We visit Mayan villages and search in the jungle for spider monkeys.

If you look closely you will see two spider monkeys. Note all the little solid pieces of fruit hanging in the trees. The monkeys are feeding on them.

Sitting and eating.

Here is the restaurant and tour shop that Miriam likes to stop at. She brings her business here. Lunch was okay, and I have already mentioned the state of the restrooms. I like the notion of a highway through the jungle. We are starting to get long afternoon shadows.

Looking down the highway in the opposite direction. We would recommend this day tour to others. The guide was knowledgeable and the walking and climbing were not overly strenuous.
