Barcelo Maya resort is on the Yucatan peninsula - we were on the Caribbean sea side (southern).

They went far from shore.

Margaret on the beach. Lots of water sports going on in the background!

I talked to this guy as he got ready and went out windsurfing.

They return. This gives you an idea of how the boat is arranged for seating.

The sail boats weren't used much, if you know how to sail yourself I bet you could be out whenever you like.

We were happy at the level of *free* water activities at Barcelo. We didn't ride the 4-wheelers on the beach, jet ski, parasail, or go scuba diving or snorkel in the ocean. If we went back I would consider all those things.
